I am a huge advocate for shopping small, it’s what I built my whole Instagram blog on. I’ve been a proud supporter of small and local businesses for as long as I can remember, and I know the impact that it makes for those business owners.
More than anything, I challenge each of you and your loved ones to shop small this holiday season.
One of my favorite quotes I’ve seen so far is: “Amazon and Walmart don’t do a “happy jig” when they make a sale, but the small businesses do a jig every sale they make. Make someone do a jig this year.”
Some of the best gifts are the personalized or custom ones, so I made it my focus to create a list of meaningful and personal gifts from small businesses! Hope you find something for the ones you love.
For the Pet Lover

Beautiful dog bandanas from my favorite bandana company. Kora has 3 of theirs!
Personalized feeding pet stand (ranges in size)
Custom pet phone case ($40)

More Places to Shop Small:
Another way to support small businesses is by reaching out to friends and family on social media who sell products like Arbonne, Monat, etc. to help their individual business.
Still not sure what to get them but want to shop small?
Get them a gift card from their favorite boutique, spa, restaurant, home décor shop, coffee shop, hair salon, pet store! These gift cards mean SO much to business owners!
Ask them what their charity of choice is and donate! This is such a meaningful gift and impacts so many lives at once.
If you’re dead set on a pair of shoes or hat etc- try Googling outside of your normal shops to try and find your item of choice on a small businesses website
Share your favorite small and local businesses on social media and help spread the word!
I hope this helps you shop small this upcoming Holiday season! If you’ve found something on this list, please let me know! If you have a small business in mind that you’d like to share, please message me on Instagram or on this blog.
Lets support small businesses together!
X,
Stephanie
